An isolated teenager shackled by his hectic upbringing in a Chinese takeaway must embrace the importance of family, friendship and responsibility in order to break free from this challenging life.
Dr Haven, a successful but micromanaging doctor finds herself pitted against a serial killer inside the Princess Royal Hospital. She encounters Shinji Nyarko, a retired police detective who is bed-bound with terminal brain cancer. He offers to help her but his health is deteriorating rapidly and the murders are occurring every two hours. Doctor and patient must work together quickly to solve the clues and stop the killer.
